A LETTER FROM OUR CEO

As we close the year on our 40th-anniversary celebration, I am looking toward the future with a fresh perspective. Commemorating this milestone marks the end of an era for Moody Nolan, one that started with two people and a dream.

In our 40th year, we took time to reflect on the decades of growth that led us here. We commemorated past successes while celebrating new ones on the horizon. Internally, we started envisioning the next decade, committing ourselves to creating meaningful change in the profession and our communities.

In 2023, we will continue to build on the positive momentum that brought us here—the 2021 AIA Firm of the Year Award, Fast Company’s 8th Most Innovative Architecture Firm in 2022, and an ever-growing network of diverse talent. As we expand our practice nationally, I am eager to warmly welcome those who want to embark on the journey ahead with Moody Nolan. We will press into aligning our work and culture around what matters most to us— diversity, innovation, authenticity, respect, and accountability.

Today and for every decade to come, I remain thankful for the never-ending support from our clients, staff, peers, and mentors. To everyone who articulated a meaningful contribution to our “40 Moments” this year—thank you. The generosity of your words elevated the entire Moody Nolan community.

In the upcoming year, Moody Nolan will embark on another new era as we reimagine our visual identity and take on new challenges that disrupt the status quo. I am hopeful for the road ahead and energized to embark on another year together.
